Forbes shared an exclusive first look at the teaser trailer for “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2,” the finale to the epic series of films based on the “Hunger Games” novels. In this final chapter, “Mockingjay,” Katniss Everdeen and her District 13 comrades will “engage in an “all-out revolution against the autocratic Capitol.”
The “Hunger Games” films have been have been a huge commercial success for Lionsgate. The second film, Catching Fire, earned the most with $867 million worldwide, Mockingjay Part I took in $752 million, and the first Hunger Games movie earned $691 million. It will be interesting to see if new records will be set by Mockingjay Part 2.
“Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” is scheduled to open November 18, 2015 in France, internationally over the following days, and on November 20, 2015 in the United States.
